In an exciting development for eco-tourism enthusiasts and motorhome owners, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MOECC), through its Natural Reserves Department, has announced the soft opening of a new beach in the scenic Sealine area. This new location is designed specifically for motorhome owners, offering an innovative and sustainable option for camping and leisure in Qatar.
The beach features a comprehensive range of services aimed at enhancing the comfort and convenience of visitors. Each motorhome owner can stay for up to two nights, ensuring that the area remains accessible to as many visitors as possible. Key amenities include electricity, water, sewage facilities, and lighting, making it an ideal spot for motorhome camping while ensuring environmental sustainability.
Saleh Al Kuwari, Director of the Natural Reserves Department at MOECC, emphasized that the beach is a significant addition to Qatar’s recreational infrastructure. He noted that the venue has already attracted a great turnout from motorhome owners and their families, who are eager to experience the serene beauty of the area in a comfortable and well-equipped environment. The beach also features designated seating areas near the parking locations for motorhomes, with privacy screens to ensure a family-friendly atmosphere. Additional comforts such as seating and umbrellas allow visitors to enjoy the natural surroundings in a relaxed and private setting.
The beach’s official opening is set for April, and the project is part of the Ministry’s broader efforts to enhance ecotourism options for both Qatari citizens and residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Al Kuwari also shared that the Ministry plans to expand the project in the future to include additional beach locations, further diversifying recreational choices for eco-tourists and helping to meet the growing demand for sustainable travel experiences.
