This innovative service is designed to simplify the attestation process for a range of documents, including educational certificates, personal status papers, judicial documents, and more, that require authentication by Qatar’s diplomatic missions abroad. These documents will be sent to the appropriate Qatar diplomatic missions for verification, where they will be authenticated either directly by the mission or, when needed, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the host country.
With this new service, individuals will be able to complete the attestation process remotely, ensuring that their documents are legally recognized in Qatar without the need for physical presence. This move aligns with the MOFA’s ongoing efforts to enhance customer experience and reduce bureaucratic processes, supporting Qatar’s digital transformation goals as part of the country’s National Vision 2030.
For those seeking attestation of educational documents, it is important to note that the degree or certificate must be from a university that is accredited and listed as recognized by Qatar’s Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
This initiative is set to bring greater efficiency and convenience to Qatar’s global community, ensuring that foreign-issued documents can be easily authenticated and utilized within the country.
