Hamad Medical Corporation Announces Eid Al Fitr 2025 Operational Hours

Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has officially announced the operational hours of its services during the Eid Al Fitr holiday, ensuring that essential healthcare services remain available for the public during this festive time.

Key Service Timings:

  • Emergency Departments: All emergency departments will continue to operate 24/7 for medical emergencies, providing uninterrupted care to all individuals.
  • Pediatric Emergency Centers: The Pediatric Emergency Centers will remain open around the clock, seven days a week, for medical emergencies involving children under the age of 14 years.
  • Ambulance Services: HMC’s Ambulance Service will maintain 24/7 operations for those in need of emergency medical assistance.
  • Nesma’ak Call Center (16060): The Nesma’ak call center will remain available 24/7, ensuring continuous support for the public.
  • Government Healthcare Hotline (16000): The 16000 hotline will continue its services around the clock, available for any healthcare inquiries or needs.

Temporary Closures and Changes:

  • Outpatient Clinics: All outpatient clinics will be closed from 30 March to 5 April. However, some clinics will reopen on 6 and 7 April, with full services resuming across HMC from 8 April. Patients with scheduled outpatient appointments during the Eid period will be contacted directly if there are any changes to their appointments.
  • Urgent Consultation Service (16000): The urgent consultation service will be unavailable from 30 March, with operations resuming on 8 April.
  • Pharmacy Home Delivery Service (16000): The pharmacy home delivery service will be paused from 30 March, reopening on 8 April.
  • National Mental Health Helpline (16000): The mental health helpline will be closed for the first three days of Eid, resuming operations after the holiday.
  • Therapeutic Dietetics and Nutrition Services (16060): This service will be unavailable on the first day of Eid but will open from 7 am to 12 pm on subsequent days.
  • Qatar National Blood Donation Center: The center will be closed for the first two days of Eid but will open daily from 9 am to 9 pm thereafter. Additionally, the City Center Mobile Blood Donation Camp will operate daily from 3 pm to 8 pm during the holiday.

HMC has urged the public to stay informed of any changes to their appointments or services, as they continue to provide essential healthcare throughout the holiday period.
